• You care where your audio goes. By default it's deleted the moment scoring finishes. We keep the transcript and scores, and you can delete those too.
• You want help in the meeting itself. The free live meter (a 10-second email sign-in) runs on your device during a real meeting: pace, pauses, energy, and endings that trail off. Nothing is recorded.

What a Dictalus rep gives you

You read a prompt, speak for 30 to 90 seconds, and get your words per minute, filler words per minute, deliberate pauses, and longest unbroken run, plus one concrete fix. Then you run it back and try to beat your number. A guided curriculum suggests the next drill, from answering first and cutting filler through small talk, meetings, and presence.
